Tikinagan Coffee Table and Stools

Tikinagan Table and Stools were co-designed and built with Kayla Della-Nebbia.

In collaboration with the Indigenous community in Thunder Bay, Ontario, 8 Sheridan College furniture students designed and built furniture for the Indigenous Knowledge Centre of the Thunder Bay Waverly Library Branch.

The Tikinagan Coffee Table and Stools draw from baby cradle boards (Tikinagans) as well as traditional Métis beadwork and medicinal plants.

It is designed to be used intergenerationally for sitting, reading, making, and sharing.
